The Monday Blues!

A dear friend of mine posted as her Facebook update that she had the Monday Blues. I can totally relate! After having a great weekend, or even a low-key one it’s difficult to get back into the swing of things. I find that no matter how much I love my job, no matter how much I love my peers, I could use an extra day of the weekend! I propose for all weekends to be 3 days long! You see at times I get cheated because most people get important holidays like Martin Luther King (which is next Monday y’all) off… I don’t. I only get 6 says off the ENTIRE year… my next holiday is in May…

Today the dreaded Monday headache came back! My wonderful husband was kind enough to propose a calm night at home in order to scare the mean ol’ headache away. Days like these I appreciate wonderful Super husbands… and Advil!

And now because the headache won’t let me think straight I’m just going to blurt out… random stuff about my day! Good luck trying to understand!

* My program at work was assigned a new intern! YAY! (Free help! – I was an intern!)

* The piles at work are endless… but I am motivated to paperwork to my heart’s desire!

* Today is day 11 of my bet… and while suffering… I’m holding STRONG! (Honey ask me about this… and I’ll fill you in! Heck whoever wants to know… I’ll fill you in! Go Team Jenny!)

* I am thankful for having K (my awesome buddy) to run too… or to eat chocolate butter with (Go Team Nutella!)

* My husband always has a smile on his face (it rocks my world!)

* I miss my puppy (she’s staying at my mom’s) and I want to bring her home… NO MATTER HOW CRAZY SHE IS!

* I started reading a trashy new novel… AND I LOVE IT.

* I’ve been getting comments from people I DONT KNOW on my blog… and it’s FABULOUS!!!

* Comments are my new “thing”… I’m cool because people COMMENT on MY blog!

Sorry for the lack of structure… but some days… I’m just all over the place…

I hope your Manic Monday was a little bit Manic… and a little bit Rock & Roll!

Um… did someone put Miami in the freezer???

Hi lovely imaginary readers (and all of you that I DO know!),

Sorry for the lack of post yesterday, I had what I call a Monday night headache. I hate Monday night headaches. You see I suffer from migraines. Its a reality that I have accepted… BUT random headaches make me upset. I’ve come to the conclusion that my Monday night headaches are attributed to my depression and war against Mondays. I fight sleep the night before, I HATE waking up early (ok soooo I hate waking up early everyday but usually a lot more on Mondays!), and I usually have a VERY hectic day at work. All of this results in, well, manic monday headaches. All of that to say SORRY about not posting! Funny how things are… before december 19th I did not know what having a blog was all about. I mean I would read AWESOME BLOGS (you know who you are!) out there but I didn’t have my own and now that I do, I disappoint myself when I don’t write!

Ok now I can RANT about the horribly cold temperatures in the beautiful city of Miami. So I know that many of you who may come across this post, may be under snow right now, BUT I have to let you know THAT it never EVER gets this cold in Miami. In fact tonight we are supposed to break a record. Ladies and Gents its supposed to feel like the 30s or something. Again, Again, I know you think I’m out of my mind but IT’S COLD! My hubby who does NOT believe in cold weather actually wore a track suit today… and a long sleeve thermal and one of those beanie cap things that boys wear! Its almost like someone put Miami in the freezer!!!

So now I’m going to stop writing and run right back underneath my covers!

That’s Superman… FREEZING!
